About the customer

OBOS is Norway's largest housing association and housing manager, one of the Nordic region's largest home builders and a cooperative owned by its members. At the end of 2018, OBOS had 454,442 members.

In recent years, OBOS has developed from being a housing association in Oslo to becoming a group with operations in Norway, Sweden and Denmark. Today, OBOS has members in most of Norway's municipalities, and is established in the largest cities in the country. The OBOS Group also has extensive residential development activities in Sweden.‍


What we delivered

As part of OBOS' goal of being perceived as "one OBOS", we have implemented a new solution for Member Services. The solution provides a 360 degree view of the member, and supports all handling of members and membership. It covers dialogue with the member in four channels, with automated lookup of customer and archiving of documentation.

The implementation has focused on good user experiences and long-term solution management. Therefore, it has been a focus to use as standard functionality as possible. To minimise risk and maintain high quality deliveries, automated regression testing and roll-out have been used.

The Agile project approach has been used with Scrum as methodology and full test and task automation with Azure DevOps.
