Ambition and growth

Leiv Thomas Sandnes joins Evidi and takes up the role as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) on March 1. Evidi experienced significant growth in 2022, and with the appointment of Sandnes, Evidi is now equipped for more extensive deliveries and increased growth rates in the future.

Sandnes has extensive experience in the IT industry and has worked both technically and commercially for manufacturers such as Microsoft and in the consulting business. In recent years, he has worked with strategic advice to large public and private players. He makes no secret of the fact that he is looking forward to making a difference at Evidi, where the goal is to help customers succeed with their digital strategies.

If you really want to make a difference, you need to have control over the entire value chain. To me, Evidi appears to be the most exciting player in the Nordic market. Precisely because they have competencies across an organization's tech stack, from infrastructure and platform through collaboration, to business application and insights. The strength lies in the whole, and the secret lies in extensive expertise, says Sandnes.

Thrive at the intersection

Microsoft has been a common denominator throughout his career, both internally and in jobs with partners. Sandnes thrives best at the intersection of technology and business. Now he is looking forward to joining Evidi, with his experience and potential.

Innovation happens at all levels. At the manufacturers, in the projects and internally at the customer. The most important thing is that the solution you build on does not stand in the way of new thinking but inspires to solve the challenges in a smarter way. The future is here now, it's just not distributed evenly, a former colleague at Microsoft said to me. I could not agree more. There is enormous potential in exploiting the innovation that has already happened and will happen, Sandnes concludes.

Ready to seize opportunities

Sandnes will be part of the management team of a business with a significant impact in Norway, which also has growth ambitions for the entire Nordic region. CEO of Evidi, Jørn Seglem, believes that the appointment of Sandnes, and his technical and strategic expertise, will help lift the business.

I am incredibly pleased to have a safe and committed capacity as Leiv Thomas in the team. We share a passion for helping customers balance at the intersection of people, technology, and business. And at that intersection, Thomas is one of the bravest and most fearless people I've been in contact with! As we work to find smart ways to realize the value of digitalization – and make customers ready to seize opportunities in both todays and new markets – we need change agents who contribute with new perspectives and who are also team players. And the ability to do just that, with increased speed, breadth, and impact, is enhanced with Leiv Thomas on the team, says Seglem.
