A passionate dedication
Evidi continues its growth journey and is now strengthening the team with the appointment of Erlend Bjorstad, who brings with him several years of valuable commercial management experience. Bjorstad assumes the role of CEO with special responsibility for strategic and commercial growth initiatives. Bjorstad comes from a leadership role at SAS Institute, where he has worked widely with growth in both Norway and the Nordic region in recent years. He also has several years of commercial management experience at Microsoft.
In addition to a broad commercial management experience, Bjorstad has for many years shown a great commitment to exploring and creating creative partnerships and business opportunities. He also has extensive experience as a sparring partner for various business leaders.
I am passionate about my work. It's not just about delivering, but also about challenging and developing myself and those close to me. Ambitions and intentions thrive well in an open landscape, and a transparent approach ensures that everyone involved understands the direction we want to move towards. My experience is that those around us, both internally and externally, will help influence the journey. This will yield results, says Bjørstad.
Creative, result-oriented capacity
Evidi is trying to expand its service portfolio and strengthen its value proposition towards customers and partners. With his experience, Bjorstad will be a valuable addition to the commercial management team in the work to create growth across a wide range, but also to help accelerate individual initiatives.
Success in digital transformation with product development and service optimization, understanding business challenges and opportunities in a risk/value context, not only for us, but also for our partners and their customers and users. Technology plans must be followed by culture plans. I believe that activating people is just as crucial as implementing technologies to achieve good results, and I find that Evidi shares this view, says Bjorstad.

CEO of Evidi, Jørn Seglem, is looking forward to having Bjorstad on board and believes that he will be an important capacity in the business' continued growth. Seglem particularly emphasizes Bjorstad's values, which are in line with what the business stands for and represents, by being a specialist who takes responsibility. When Erlend recently chose to leave SAS Institute to seek new challenges and develop, Evidi seized the opportunity.

He gets through issues and frictions to get value and brings with him an invaluable experience with internal analysis and AI, accumulated by a leading player in the market. Erlend's perspective and impact in business development will undoubtedly accelerate growth in Evidi, says Seglem.
